In the book of Luke 1:28-35, the angel of the Lord appeared to Mary and told her that she would have a child who will be the Savior of the world. But she replied, how will it be since I know no man?
How will it be?
This is the question many of us find asking ourselves. The Lord gives us a promise. He tells us what he intends to do in our lives, our careers, business, ministries, family but this seems to be such a big thing for us to comprehend, and instead of believing we question.
How will this be? How will this come to pass?
Looking at our present circumstances, we are filled with doubts. We even go-ahead to research who around us has the Lord done such and such a thing.
Many times we find ourselves in hopeless situations and disbelief. While in Babylon, the children of Israel complained and said, “Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.” Ezekiel 37:11 they lived in despair.
But the Lord said, I shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD. Ezekiel 37:14.
In Luke 1:38 Mary responds and says, may it be unto me according to thy will.
Think of what could have happened had Mary not accepted God’s will in her life. Where would we be? When would salvation come?
How will it be? This is the question Sarah asked. Since she was old and had no strength for childbearing. Genesis 18:9-12
Do you know that doubting God’s word spoken to our lives can cause stagnation or delay?
When Sarah said that she couldn’t have a child at her old age, after the birth of Ishmael she waited for thirteen good years for the child of promise Isaac. The promise that was given before the birth of Ishmael.
So what attitude is holding your miracle? Are you saying how will it be or may it be according to your will Lord?
