Miracles do happen every day. God is at work and He is still performing miracles in our lives. Every day God is doing something new in our lives. Sometimes you simply have to pause and notice the things that He is doing. The small things that skip our attention and we suppose its normal, maybe miracles.
It takes a grateful heart to look around and see that they’re surrounded by miracles all over. You awoke went to work and returned safely that’s a miracle by itself. Someone else used the same path to work but never returned home. You are able to eat and digest properly without any help, that’s a miracle. Don’t take the common things in life for granted.
If you’re alive today, it’s a miracle on its very own. Sleeping and waking up, many wanted to sleep and see a new day but they didn’t. God healed you out of an illness that endangered your life at the same time as someone else continues to battle with the similar sickness, that is a miracle! We are all miracles.
Everyday God is doing a new thing in our lives. Let us observe ours lives and thank Him for the miracles.
The issues of life; envy and competition has blinded many of us from seeing the things that God is doing in our very own lives. While we’re busy noticing what God is doing for our friends, neighbors or family members we fail to understand that God is likewise working in our lives. It can be transforming us, delivering us from addictions, protecting us, providing for our needs, healing, advancing us to different levels but rather than thanking God for what He is doing in our lives we’re stuck taking notes of other people’s lives.
Some people used to find it hard to pray, study the word, fast or had been held in extreme bondage by addictions. But when they started to seek God, He began working on them and transformed them into new beings. They can now study the Word without dozing off, pray for hours on… God worked on them however they quickly forgot, they look back and notice growth but do no appreciate it. They are busy counting the blessings of others.
This reminds me of a man at the pool of Bethesda who laid there for 38 years waiting for his miracle. Jesus recognized him and asked whether he wanted to be made whole, he claimed that he had no man to put him into the pool when the angel came and stirred the water. Jesus did not ask if he had someone to put him into the pool? He desired to heal him however the man was busy looking at what was taking place around him, as others received their healing and went home. He did not recognize who was speaking to him. He did not know that miracles do happen and that God’s ways are diverse. Don’t get caught up thinking God does things in a particular manner, while He desires to reveal His glory to you and transform your life.
The woman at Zeraphath was fetching firewood to prepare her last meal so that she would eat together with her son and die. She did not know God would bring His Prophet Elijah and that they would be supernaturally provided during the famine. God brought her and her son a miracle that spared their lives.
Additionally, would like to share a testimony. In the past years I got a mortgage for enterprise however there was slow growth in it. Barely enough to get the bills catered for. I prayed and asked God for an intervention due to the fact all strategies attempted none worked. This was a burden for me for so long until at the start of this year God performed a miracle and it was written off.
Do not put God in a box. You might think He will come in a certain way only for Him to show up in another way. There is nothing He cannot do. He is a miracle working God.
As we embrace the miracles let’s not forget the miracle worker. Many came to Jesus because of the miracles He did. They were spectators. Whenever they heard He was coming to a place, they would rush and be present at the meetings. But were their lives changed? This is a question we ought to ask ourselves. Do we know God because of his miracles? Or can we also yearn to draw close and have a relationship with Him?
As God continues to do greater works in our lives revealing His glory, let us to additionally desire to know Him. It is by knowing Him that we are able to recognize His ways and acknowledge His works in our lives. For we are His witnesses here on earth.
Likewise take time to appreciate what He is doing; the progress we’re seeing, His grace is working in our lives to make us all He created us to be. It doesn’t matter what you think isn’t working or is taking time in your life, God has a way of doing things beyond our wildest imaginations. Continue to declare His praises.
